The winner was owned by Sir Abe Bailey, trained by Reginald Day and ridden by Joe Dines. A purse of £2000 allowed for the second to receive 100 sovereigns and the third 50 sovereigns, while the breeder of winner 100 sovereigns and the second 50 sovereigns. The winner won by a length with a length between second and third.
